As the Restaurant Manager at Strand Restaurant, you will have overall responsibility for the restaurant's operations, staff, and sales. You are a central part of the daily operations, both on the floor and behind the scenes, and work closely with the kitchen manager, F&B manager, and the resort management.

You are responsible for ensuring that the service level is always top-notch, that guests have a memorable experience, and that our employees thrive, develop, and perform at their best. With your clear communication and engaged leadership, you inspire others to follow your example. Main Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the restaurant

• Ensure high service levels and quality at all levels

• Staff responsibility including scheduling and onboarding

• In consultation with the F&B Manager, optimize staffing in the restaurant

• Receive sick leave notifications and arrange substitutes during absences

• Budget responsibility and daily monitoring of sales and hours worked

• Supplier contact and purchasing

• Lead daily and weekly meetings with the team

• Actively work with sales and guest experience

• Ensure compliance with routines and policies

• Responsible for table bookings and guest communication via Waiteraid, phone, and email

• Work in daily operations

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with previous experience as a restaurant manager and several years of experience in the restaurant industry. You are a confident, communicative, and inspiring leader who is passionate about service and has a genuine guest focus. As a person, you are creative, solution-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You have a good financial understanding and are used to working towards and following up clear goals. Accuracy and structure are essential for you; you like to have order and clarity in both operations and planning. Above all, you are a team player who happily steps in where needed to support your team and ensure a fantastic experience for our guests. Since the position involves a lot of guest contact, you need to speak fluent Swedish and/or English.

Working hours vary according to the restaurant's opening hours, which means work in the morning, daytime, and evening every day of the week. The employment is a seasonal position at 100% during the period from May to August. Individual salary setting, other conditions according to collective agreement with Vista-Unionen. We offer staff accommodation and also have a staff camping area for those with their own van, caravan, or tent.

About Us Leksand Resort's five-star family campsite is located among pines in a lush tranquility right next to Lake Siljan, adjacent to Leksand Sommarland. We have accommodations ranging from tents to luxurious cabins. At Leksand Resort, there are plenty of fun activities for the whole family, restaurants, kiosks, shops, and relaxing with attractions around the corner. One night in July, we can accommodate up to 4000 overnight guests during the peak summer season.
